Stash — Clipboard Tape

Keep the text. Lift what matters.

Capture a passage, split it into selectable pieces, and reuse just what you need. Keep useful clips on your tape and organize them into stacks on the shelf.

Turn a passage into useful pieces.

Paste, write, or share text into Stash. Tap a text clip to loosen it into selectable pieces, then lift the words, sentences, lines, or recognized details you need. Choose how the pieces join, copy or share the result, or save it as one clip or separate clips.

Tokenization and text selection run on your device. Lifting pieces does not rewrite the original clip.

A tape for now. A shelf for later.

Keep recent captures on the tape and shelve useful clips in named stacks. Search your saved text, select several clips to copy or share together, and bring saved text into another app with the Stash keyboard.

On iPad, use the extra space to browse and work with your text. Drag selected pieces into another app or onto a stack.

The core stays free.

The tape, lifting, stacks, keyboard, and backups are free. Optional Stash Plus adds private iCloud sync and the Paper and Marker app icons with one purchase. The Slate icon is included with Stash.

Sync uses your existing iCloud storage; Stash Plus does not add storage. Your local collection stays accessible without Plus.

Your text, on your terms.

Stash does not require its own account and does not operate a server for your collection. Automatic clipboard capture is optional. Link previews contact the linked website; you can turn off automatic preview loading. With Plus, saved clips sync through your private iCloud database.
