Structly is a JSON viewer for iPhone, iPad and Mac, with a Safari extension. Your JSON is processed on your device. There's no Structly server, no account, no analytics and no third-party SDKs.
In Safari. The extension reads the JSON of the page you're viewing, because that's how it formats it. Nothing leaves your browser; the only network request is the one Safari already made to load the page. Your theme and text size are saved in Safari's storage on that device.
Open in Structly. When you choose to send a page to the app, its JSON is copied into a private container shared only by Structly and its extension on the same device. The app deletes the copy when it opens it, and anything left unopened is removed after 10 minutes.
In the app. Files you open, text you paste and JSON shared through “View in Structly” are read on your device. “View in Structly” works inside the share sheet and doesn't keep a copy. Recent documents are private copies kept in the app's own storage on that device, excluded from backups, and limited to the last 12. You can turn them off or clear them in Settings (Mac) or Help (iPhone and iPad) under Privacy.
Tips. The optional tip jar uses Apple's in-app purchase. Apple handles the payment; I don't receive your name, payment details or anything else about you, and a tip doesn't change what the app does.
My Apps. In versions that include My Apps, opening Help or Settings can request app names, availability and artwork from Apple's catalog and image servers. The catalog request includes your device's region to select an App Store storefront. These network requests expose your IP address to Apple, but never include your JSON, document names, browsing history or a Structly account identifier. Structly does not keep cookies for catalog requests. It caches the catalog on your device so the list can work offline. Choosing an app opens its App Store page.
Apple sees the App Store transaction when you install Structly. I see what App Store Connect reports — install counts, country, device type. No identity, no usage, no pages or files you opened.
