Between sets, a workout logger has a small job: show what to lift, record it, and count down the rest. The new LiftCoach workout card keeps those steps in one place.

The exercise, weight and reps sit above the sets already logged. Tap Done to record a set, and the card switches to the rest countdown. When rest ends, the next set is ready. The workout overview opens as a sheet when you need to check the whole session.

Apple Watch follows the same card flow. On the iPhone Lock Screen, the Live Activity shows rest and the next set, with a Done action once rest ends. The Today’s Plan widget can start a workout or take you back to one already running.

These cards arrived in 1.2.0. LiftCoach 1.2.1 refined the workout layout on iPhone Duo. It also brought more consistent Coach message bubbles, YouTube searches for exercise demos, and formatted Form Tips you can share.

October 31 update: LiftCoach 1.2.2 is on the US App Store. It fixes superset switching in the workout overview so each set is saved to the correct exercise.
